It’s So Amazing! A Book About Eggs, Sperm, Birth, Babies, and Families – Robie H. Harris (Author) &

The age-old question.
Where do babies come from?
Well the only storks in this book are tongue-in-cheek, same with the birds and the bees.
This book is a frank discussion about reproduction, babies, sex, sexuality, adoption, gender, families, hetero- and homosexuality, sexual abuse, and STIs.
And I LOVE IT!
Now before you get all squeamish about a book for seven-year olds that talks about STIs and sexuality, I challenge you to give it a shot.
I also challenge why you may be perturbed by a body (and body image) positive book for children (for shame).
I also add the caveat that it approaches these matters in an age appropriate and visually appealing manner.
It is forthright and funny, and I really enjoy the fact that there are more books in the series that grow with their target demographic.
